The Hot Rod Gusseted Hairpin Kit is fully constructed from stainless steel. Hairpins are made from 304 stainless with an investment cast stainless gusset to match our rear ladder bar kits, all beautifully TIG welded. A gusset offers more strength to the hairpin under hi torque and breaking loads. The investment cast stainless steel batwings feature a built in lower shock mount and panhard mounting tab. Frame mounting brackets are easy to weld forged steel and can be welded at an angle to suit various axle widths. The kit comes complete with 11/16" - 18 stainless steel sealed tie rod ends and 5/8" - 18 adjustable stainless steel clevises in the front. This kit uses chrome mounting hardware for maximum shear strength.

NOTES & TIPS:

The Traditionalist batwings feature a built in lower shock mount. This allows them to be made with a flat bottom design, eliminating the need for a tapered washer or tapered perch nut during installation.

The traditionalist batwings have a built in panhard mounting tab with a 1/2" thru hole on the right batwing.

Remember to always use Anti-Seize on all stainless steel and aluminum parts.
