Specialty made batwings for spring in front of axle when using 4 Bar or Hairpins. Commonly used on 35 - 40 Ford (Note - Stock 35-36 axles are 2" perch boss and will require perch shims). 2 1/4" perch boss and 2" wide spring with 3/4" ID shackle Bushing ID. Includes support arms to prevent spring movement. Un-polished stainless steel finish. SOLD AS KIT

These batwings are perfect for converting an Early Ford to 4-Bar or Hairpin front suspension. Common for 35 - 40 Ford or other Early Fords with spring in front of axle applications. Fits 2 1/4" perch boss (2" boss axles will require shims to work.) Includes support arms to prevent front end binding or movement. For 9/16" dia. mounting bolts (not included.) Accepts 2" wide springs - overall spring length determined by axle perch center distance. Un-polished stainless steel construction, but also available in fully polished on this store.
