Universal Hot Rod motor mount kit bolts to Small Block Chevy and Big Block Chevy engines. Dropped engine plates allow frame brackets to be welded at top of chassis rail while still keeping the motor in the correct location - offering additional steering clearance with Vega boxes. Biscuit style mount for a traditional look. Common for use on 1928 - 1934 Ford frames. Requires trimming of frame bracket based on chassis, engine, and location. This kit was designed to bolt on to SBC and BBC blocks and use a traditional style frame mount and rubber for that period correct look. The dropped motor mounts allow the frame bracket to be welded higher in the frame, to offer more steering clearance when using Vega box. High quality urethane cushion kit features a support band around for added strength and longer life. This kit also reduces engine movement under acceleration compared to pivot style mounts, which helps with tight header clearances.
